NaBloPoMo 3.0

It's that time of year again - and while the thought of blogging every day in November fills me with trepidation (especially given my recent track record), the thought of not making the attempt makes me too sad to contemplate. So - it's on. If you've got any suggestions for things you're interested in hearing about, speak up! I'll take all the topic ideas I can get.

  1. Yay for NaBloPoMo! I love your cranberry sauce recipe and come read it every fall because I can't seem to commit it to memory. Even after canning a bunch, I still seem to have plenty of cranberries and apples left. Gah! Do you have other canning recipes you love? I'm always on the hunt for new ones to try, even though I still haven't made all of the ones in "Food in Jars" yet.

  2. Thanks, Justine! I love that cranberry sauce recipe too, and am determined to find some fresh cranberries in Canberra for Thanksgiving this year. Among my other favorite canning recipes are berry-apple butter (http://therovinglemon.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/blackberry-apple-butter.html) and this one, which I'm making once a week right now, in the midst of strawberry season (http://therovinglemon.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/small-batch.html).

  3. I love NaBloPoMo! I've missed your writing and stories. Some posts I would enjoy: Stories about cooking with your mom and memories with your sisters; lunches you love; leftover repurposing (you do that really well); inspiration for cooking when you live somewhere that has pizza and italian subs nearby on late work nights; the Italian art of "assembling" (that's what antipasto is, if you think of it)...

  4. Thanks, Diana! Making note of all of these for inspiration as the month progresses - and I've already done one leftovers post! See http://therovinglemon.blogspot.com/2013/11/macgyver-meals.html
